Service provided: project management and cost consultancy
Following the successful completion of two projects pcm have continued to develop a successful business relationship with Honda in the retail sector within their organisation.
Firstly appointed by their retail division to review the robustness and cost effectiveness of their supply chain of all the companies providing both corporate materials and construction delivery into their automotive dealership programme.
Shortly after completing this commission it was followed by an appointment as Project Managers and Cost Consultants for a new build car dealership in Dunstable. A further four appointments for new dealerships quickly followed.
In January 2005, following the successful delivery of these specific dealerships, pcm were appointed under a Framework Agreement to provide these services exclusively across the whole of the Honda UK dealership programme.
Our role under the Framework goes far beyond the traditional services, being involved at the early conceptual stages of site acquisition and project feasibility stages through all the phases of procurement advice, tendering and delivery. Our services have also included liaison with the incoming dealer.
Their ability to liaise closely with the client and other members of the design and construction management teams, ensuring the successful delivery of this challenging and successful project, is a credit to their commitment.
