Park Communications Ltd (PCL) are required to relocate their business under a Compulsory Purchase Order from their existing location at Lea Mill to the proposed new premises outside.
The client operates a printing business 24/7 and the new units require extensive refurbishment and remodelling. The extent of the modifications include but is not limited to the following: new entrance area; floor strengthening; new lift; new and refurbishment of toilets; construction of mezzanine floors to pre-press and digital areas; new escape staircase; removal of blockwork dividing walls between units; upgrade Unit 3 to comply with current building regulations; provide corporate signage, new pallet storage bays; new sanitary ware, electrical, mechanical,
ventilation, heating, fire prevention, security and access systems; fit-out of 3no. units; provide client furniture; and decorate throughout.
pcm have assembled a design team and appointed a number of consultants on a sub consultant basis. We are providing Project Management, Quantity Surveying and using pcm safety for planning supervisory services.
The project involves significant M&E installations with controlled environments for storage and printing operations, also creating and fitting out of office space, all to comply with current Building and DDA regulations.
